The new browser is some what different with the regular browsers. Epiphany is a Gnome sponsored project, which Firefox is stongly thinking to improve in Gnomeization. The use of Konqueror is a Open Source web browser with html 4.01 compiance, supporting Java applets, CSS and also Netscape plugins like flash or Real video plugins.
From past Konqueror is a well designed browser with all in one facilities in addition to the browser features it has KIO protocols, it can be turned into FTP Client, NFS browser, Samba Client and LDAP viewer. Linux Magazine has awarded it as the tuxie for Best Web Browser of the year.
Installation: Konqueror is installed by default in Kubuntu. If you are already useing Ubuntu or Xubuntu Firefox has all the features of Konqueror, You can install even if you think it will help you use the following commands sudo apt-get install konqueror.
Browsing the Web : Rather than regular browsers just type in the URL in the location bar and hit enter. Konqueror will then load the site with its KHTML browsing engine. Using tabs you can opt to open in multiple windows and the hot keys are basically same. Ctrl-T to open a new tab, Ctrl-W to close the current tab, and Ctrl-Page Down and Ctrl-Page Up to navigate between the tabs. Unlike the other two browsers, however, Konqueror also provides a native way to split the current window (Firefox users can use the Split Browser extension to get similar functionality). This method is handy for displaying multiple webpages side by side. If you use Konqueror as a file browser, it can also be handy for displaying local and remote files in the same window. To split the screen vertically, hit Ctrl-Shift-L. To split it horizontally, hit Ctrl-Shift-T. Ctrl-Shift-R closes the selected split .
Using Flash and Java
Kubuntu’s version of Konqueror supports Netscape plugins (including Flash and Java) out of the box. If you installed Konqueror on a non-Kubuntu system, however, you may need to install the konqueror-nsplugins package (sudo apt-get install konqueror-nsplugins). Once you have Netscape plugin support ready, you can install the appropriate Flash and Java plugins (flashplugin-nonfree, gcjwebplugin, icedtea-gcjwebplugin, or sun-java6-plugin), as well as any other Netscape-compatible plugin. For Flash, you also have the option of installing konqueror-plugin-gnash, which is potentially easier than using a Netscape plugin.

Reopen your Last closed tab in Browsers easily
Unfortunately we all accidentally close tabs, but it will be difficult to find out later if it is not a well known site. There is a solution for this. Follow my instructions you can easily get out from this situation.
To reopen a last Tab in Internet Explorer 7 we have to download a plug-in called IE7 Open Last Closed Tab ,download the latest version and be sure to close all opened Internet Explorer Windows.Now If you open Internet Explorer Tools>Manage Add-ons>Enable or Disable Add-ons, you will find IE7 Last Open Closed tab Enabled there.Now if you close any tab accidentally on Internet Explorer by pressing Alt-X you can reopen that tab.
This Add-on works IE8 Beta also.

To Reopen last Closed Tab in Google Chrome :Press Ctrl+Shift +T
To Reopen Last Closed tab in Opera:Press Ctrl+Alt +Shift+Z
Putting Single close button for all Firefox Tabs
Usually each tab will have its own closing tab, you also have an advanced option to close all tabs at a time. Follow these tips
Open Firefox and type “about:config” without quotes in address bar and select I’ll be careful I promise.
In the Filter type “browser.tabs.Closebuttons” without quotes and press enter you will find browser.tabs.closebuttons filter ,double click it and change its value to 3.
Restart the Firefox ,now you can observe only one close button for all tabs.
To make it default follow procedure from step1 to 2 and double click and change its value to 1.
